Even the healthiest of relationships require work to communicate well, overcome conflict, and extend forgiveness. What can we do to restore or strengthen the bond with our spouse?
For those who attended our conference, you heard from Nicky and Sila Lee, the Founders of The Marriage Course, a ministry of Alpha International. This group will continue with the next six sessions of the Marriage Course. Couples will have an opportunity to receive teaching, reflect individually and, with their spouse, discuss topics such as the art of communication, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, the impact of family, good sex and love in action.
This Peer Group will require a weekly commitment. (Please reconsider joining if you’re unable to make at least four sessions.)
Co-Hosts: Stanley and Carolina Funk, Marriage Course facilitators, along with Brent and Erin Jasper, Gathering participants
Who belongs? Married couples who want to strengthen their relationship
When do we meet? Once a week for 6 weeks, virtually, for 120 minutes, on Sundays, from 5 to 7 pm ET, from September 29 through November 3, followed by an in-person reunion at our next aAnnual cConference in September 2025.
Criteria to join our community events
- Follow Jesus as Lord and Savior.
- Give at least $200,000 a year to Christian causes. Though the number isn't a rigid threshold, it represents a proxy for the types of people who are asking and wrestling with the same questions around wise stewardship, giving well, avoiding pitfalls, raising the next generation, allocating resources, defining a family legacy, etc. People come to The Gathering to pursue relationships with peers who are exploring similar issues with a measure of humility, vulnerability, and trust.
