Ruth L. Okediji is the Jeremiah Smith. Jr, Professor of Law, Harvard Law School, Co-Director of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, and Founding Faculty Director for the Harvard Program on Biblical Law and Christian Legal Studies.

Professor Okediji is an expert in intellectual property law (IP) whose research and scholarship has influenced national and regional laws and policies affecting access to essential medicines, vaccines and pharmaceutical products, access to educational materials, and the ethical stewardship of innovation. In addition to her work on global IP and regulatory frameworks for new digital technologies, Professor Okediji helps lead University-wide efforts at Harvard exploring the development and dynamics of the global digital economy, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, data protection, and what regulatory structures and ethical standards should govern these subjects.

Professor Okediji was a member of the U.S. National Academies Board on Science, Technology and Policy Committee on the Impact of Copyright Policy on Innovation in the Digital Era, and in 2021 she completed service as Co-Chair of the National Academies Board on Science, Technology, and Economic Policy Committee on Advancing Commercialization from the Federal Laboratories.

Over the course of her distinguished career, Professor Okediji has received many awards and distinctions for teaching, advising, and mentoring. These include “Professor Most Likely to Go Beyond the Call of Duty” and the Student Bar Association’s “Outstanding Professor Award.” She is a two- time recipient of the Harvard Law School Women’s Law Association “Shatter the Ceiling” Award. Professor Okediji has been named one of the 50 most influential figures in the field of intellectual property by Managing IP and she received the 2019 Public Knowledge IP3 Award. She is also a 2023 recipient of the Barry Prize for Distinguished Intellectual Achievement awarded by the American Academy of Sciences and Letters.

Professor Okediji teaches Contracts, Law and Technology, Artificial Intelligence in a Just Society, Biblical Law, and Legal Ethics.  She is the immediate past-President of the Order of the Coif, an elected member of the American Law Institute, and an appointed member of the American Bar Association’s Taskforce on Artificial Intelligence and the Law.

Francis S. Collins, MD, PhD is an American physician-scientist. Under his direction, the international Human Genome Project produced the first finished sequence of human DNA in 2003. From 2009 through 2021, he served as the 16 th Director of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the largest supporter of biomedical research in the world. Collins has been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the National Medal of Science, and the Templeton Prize. He received a doctorate in physical chemistry from Yale University, and a medical degree from the University of North Carolina. An atheist in graduate school, Collins became a Christian in medical school and has sought ways to emphasize the harmony of science and faith. He is the author of The Language of God (Free Press), Belief (Harper One), The Language of Life (Harper), and The Language of Science and Faith (with Karl Giberson, InterVarsity). Collins founded The BioLogos Foundation in November 2007 and served as president until August 2009 when his official duties as NIH Director required him to step down. In September, 2024 his new book "The Road to Wisdom: On Truth, Science, Faith, and Trust" will be published by Little Brown and Worthy.

Andrew Schuman serves as the Executive Director of The Veritas Forum, where he is responsible for leading Veritas into its next season of growth and effectiveness. Since assuming the ED role in July 2019, Andrew has led the organization in adopting a new strategic plan, launching a new division focused on digital media, investing in building organizational culture by establishing our first set of core values, and designing a new project to develop a Christian faculty pipeline in the U.S. Before serving as executive director, he served as the Director of Veritas Labs. Prior to Veritas, Andrew founded the award-winning Dartmouth Apologia publication, the Augustine Collective network of Christian thought journals, and the Eleazar Wheelock Society at Dartmouth College. He also helped to launch the Life Worth Living initiative at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture. Andrew received an MBA and a MAR from Yale University. He received his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College. Andrew lives in the Boston area with his wife Caitlin and their two sons.

Chris Skaggs is the Founder and Chief Operations Officer of Soma Gamesand the Imladris Community. Created in 2005 Soma Games fancies itself the “C.S. Lewis of video games” and strives to do the epithet honor by making artistically excellent games for people who may never go to church, but find themselves having fun while pondering eternal things. Imladris is a movement to create a healthy and profitable ecosystem of Redemptive Content Creators, Patrons, and Fans, motivated by their shared faith, to bring excellence, scholarship, and leadership to the Interactive Entertainment industry. Chris is an Intel Black Belt recipient and frequent speaker at mobile and game-developer conferences, including GDC (Game Developer Conference), CGDC (Christian Game Developers Conference), Casual Connect, Serious Play, and Intel Innovators Forum.

Rev. Jason Harris joined Central Presbyterian Church as the Director of Church Renewal in August of 2011 and was called to serve as the Senior Pastor in June of 2013. By God's grace, the church has experienced a dramatic period of renewal under his leadership and grown from a dying congregation into a vibrant church community of professionals, families, students, and artists with a weekly Sunday attendance of over 500 people. In addition, Jason has overseen a full restoration of Central's neo-Gothic "little cathedral," originally constructed in 1922 by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Inspired by Central's story of renewal, Jason founded Resound Project in 2021, an initiative with a vision to strengthen new and existing churches for a changing world so that the gospel of Jesus might resound to the next generation.

Previously Jason served as the founding Campus Minister for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Northwestern University. Jason began this ministry in 2005 after receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to attending seminary, Jason worked as a sales analyst for Morgan Stanley in New York City after graduating from Princeton University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Archaeology in 2000. Jason met his wife, Ashley, at Princeton University where she studied economics and Japanese and subsequently received a J.D. degree from Columbia University Law School. Jason and Ashley have four delightful children: Luke, Olivia, Eliza, and Charlotte.

Dr. Gabrielle Clowdus is the founder of Settled, an ecumenical movement inviting churches to cultivate home in a homeless world. Settled was birthed out of Gabrielle’s doctoral research on chronic homelessness and affordable housing, where she discovered the critical response is enduring relationships. She lives at the Settled homestead in Minnesota with her husband and their four daughters, where they practice standing at the crossroads, looking, and asking for the ancient paths.

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Murray leads the Forum, focused on ensuring immigrants and all Americans are supported through programs and policies that allow us to thrive.  Formed by her experiences in an immigrant family, throughout her career she has focused on ensuring immigrants have the services and skills they need to succeed while the country has the immigration system needed to prosper. She is pleased to return to the Forum, after 8 years of former service, where this unique blend is the focus everyday. Murray brings two decades of experience to this role, having worked at the intersection of immigration services and the private sector, as well as in refugee resettlement and workforce development, all while creating and driving policy change to support robust and dignifying immigration policies.

Before returning to the Forum, Murray served as the Executive Vice President of Programs at Upwardly Global, where she supported Upwardly Global in scaling its nationally-recognized job coaching and skill-building programs to job seekers and corporate partners across the country. Also, while serving at Upwardly Global, she supported the nation’s effort to evacuate 90,000 Afghan evacuees, launched a 50+ company Corporate DEI Working Group focused on inclusion Immigrants and Refugees, and helped to establish a workforce development plan with public and corporate partners in Poland to help with resettlement of over 3 million displaced Ukrainians.

In her previous role, Murray developed and led the New American Workforce at the National Immigration Forum, an umbrella of immigrant worker upskilling and support programs offered at over 500 companies, such as citizenship legal services and our English-language training program, English At Work. In addition, she formed and led the Corporate Roundtable for the New American Workforce, co-founded by Walmart and Chobani. This collection of the nation’s largest corporations develops and implements best practices for immigrant integration at the worksite and advances legislative advocacy initiatives to support new Americans.

In 2014, Murray’s program, New American Workforce, was recognized by the Obama White House for excellence in Immigrant Integration and 5 members were awarded the Champion of Change award for their participation.  

Before joining the Forum in 2013, she directed programs at Jubilee Jobs and at Catholic Charities Washington, D.C., Refugee Center. Raised in Los Angeles and Nashville, Jennie earned her bachelor’s degree from Union University and her master’s degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. Currently, Jennie lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their son.

Sami DiPasquale lives with his family in El Paso, Texas where he serves as the executive director of Abara, a nonprofit based in El Paso, Texas serving both sides of the US-Mexico border. Sami was born in Jordan and spent the majority of his formative and young adult years in the Middle East. He holds a BA in Sustainable Development (interdisciplinary) and an MBA with a concentration in International Business. Sami has spent the last 22 years immersed in refugee and immigrant communities in the United States - working in refugee resettlement, community development, and peace building. Sami's driving motivation is to join others in bridging divides and moving toward reconciliation with God, his neighbors and the rest of creation.

Sami is the Founder and Director of Abara. In response to global migration in a polarizing world, Abara inspires connections beyond borders through mutual understanding, education, and meaningful action. Abara hosts immersive border learning experiences, supports dozens of migrant shelters on both sides of the border, and is developing Abara House, a Borderland Center for Beloved Community located on a historic river crossing adjacent to the US-Mexico border fence. Abara envisions a global beloved community flourishing through justice, peace, healing and transformation.

Curt Thompson, MD, is a board certified psychiatrist, author, speaker, and co-host of The Being Known Podcast. He has been in private practice for over 30 years in Falls Church, Virginia, graduated from Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine, and completed his psychiatric residency at Temple University Hospital. He strives to help patients develop flourishing lives by telling their stories more truly, in order to become more deeply known, for the purpose of creating beauty and goodness in the world. With conviction and humor, he trains clinicians and speaks at workshops, retreats and conferences, integrating neuroscience, human relationships and Christian faith. He and his wife Phyllis are the parents of two adult children and live in Northern Virginia.

Isaac Wardell is the director of the Porter's Gate Worship Project. For the past seven years, The Porter's Gate has been convening artists, scholars, and clergy to create new ecumenical worship resources around a number of pressing subjects facing the American church in the 21st century. Their most recent project "Sanctuary Songs" is a collection of songs and prayers related to mental health. Isaac's graduate work at The Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium was in the area of Liturgical Studies, focusing on the role of worship in spiritual formation.

Jorge serves as the Cluster Director for Central America, focusing on World Vision’s programming in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.

Jorge has over 24 years of experience in development work. His diverse experience at World Vision ranges from field roles to strategic leadership at the Latin America and Caribbean levels, providing him with a holistic view of the current challenges and opportunities in the region. Among his recent roles are National Director of World Vision in Honduras and Guatemala, Regional Director of Integrated Programming and Accountability for the Latin America and Caribbean Region, Quality Ministry Director, and Integrated Ministry Director at World Vision Honduras. In these roles, Jorge has led and supported strategy formulation, strategic stakeholder engagement, fundraising, global initiative rollouts, and board relations, among other responsibilities.

Jorge has a Masters Degree in Local Development Management from the Institute of Stock Market Studies, affiliated with the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and a Masters Degree in Economic and Social Research Methodologies from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH). He is a member of the Board of Directors of FOSDEH, PREDISAN, Vision Fund and is an active member of the Basilica of Suyapa. 

Jorge’s wife and two daughters are an integral part of his life supporting his work and sharing his strong faith.

Daniel is the CEO of Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries. He spearheads the movement to equip churches to support mental health and wellbeing in their community. Daniel’s other roles include adjunct faculty at Regent College (Vancouver, Canada); member of the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership; committee member on the International Network on Theology and Mental Health; and member of the advisory group for the Centre of Spirituality, Health and Disability. Previously, he spent ten years in full-time vocational ministry, serving as senior pastor of a church for eight years. Daniel hails from the UK, but now resides in Vancouver, BC. He is married to Annie, and has two young children. He is also a certified mediator and a double theology graduate of Regent College (MA 2017, ThM 2021).

Dina Katanacho is currently the director of the Arab Israeli Bible Society. She was awarded the Philadelphia Award for her excellent service of the Bible Society and serving the church under pressure. She is responsible to make the Word of God available and accessible to 2 million Arab citizens in Israel. Dina has earned a B. Ed from David Yellin which is associated to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MA in Leadership and Christian Ministry from Bethlehem Bible College. Dina has authored two books in Arabic and has edited and supervised the publishing of dozens of magazines. Dina is married to Yohanna Katanacho and has three boys: Immanuel, Jonathan, and Chris.

Yohanna Katanacho is currently the academic dean at Nazareth Evangelical College. He is a Palestinian Israeli Evangelical who studied at Bethlehem University (B.Sc.), Wheaton College (M.A.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M. Div.; Ph.D.). He has taught at colleges and seminaries in many countries. He has authored or contributed to dozens of books and hundreds of articles in Arabic and English. Professor Rev. Katanacho is also the Lead Translator of the Spoken Audio Galilean Arabic Bible.

Jon Guerra is a Devotional Music Singer-Songwriter based in Austin, TX. Originally from Chicago, IL, Guerra began playing guitar and writing songs at a young age. In 2020, he independently released, “Keeper of Days.” Guerra began describing his style as “Devotional Music” - a term he coined to refer to his musical style - as “less Sunday morning worship music, and more Monday morning prayer music.”

His 2023 album, “Ordinary Ways,” was critically acclaimed and won Best Album of The Year at the Gospel Coalition’s yearly round up. His songs have been described as, “contemporary Psalms with the earnestness of George Herbert, the reverent doubt of R.S. Thomas, the piercing acuity of Christian Wiman, and the determined vulnerability of St. Augustine’s Confession.” (Fr. Zac Koons, Mockingbird Magazine). In addition to songwriting, Guerra, alongside his wife, Valerie, composed music for Terrence Malick’s “A Hidden Life” (2019). He is currently touring, writing for his next album, and enjoying tacos with his wife and daughter in the ever-balmy Texas hill country.

Ed Walker spent 10 years in war zones and disaster hit area’s in Africa (Burundi, Rwanda, Southern Sudan, Northern Kenya, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Darfur) for Tearfunds Disaster Management team. His final post was as Programme Director with a £5 million budget and over 400 staff reaching over 100,000 war affected Darfurians and chairing the NGO Steering Committee. He has authored a book called ‘Reflections from the Scorched Earth’ which has sold over 5000 copies. He then moved to the UK where he was Director of the YMCA Client Services for 3 years. He has subsequently set-up a charity called Hope into Action which enables the church to house the vulnerable. To date they have over 120 homes in over 30 towns in England. Hope into Action has won many awards, including the CSJ award for 2013, Best Christian Social Action Award, 2015 (silver), The Guardian ‘Best Housing Project in the country’ 2017.  He has authored a book called: A house built on love. Published by SPCK in October 2020. Awarded an MBE for services to Homelessness June 2022.

Dr. John A. Bernbaum is a Christian educator with extensive experience working with

educational institutions in Russia and Ukraine from 1990 to the present time. He previously

served as president of the Russian-American Christian University in Moscow (1995–2014) and

as executive vice-president of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (1976–1995).

After completing his PhD in European and Russian history at the University of Maryland in

College Park, Maryland, he spent four years at the U. S. Department of State (1972-1976). He

currently writes commentaries on the Russian-Ukrainian war on Substack and has recently co-

authored a forthcoming book with Philip Yancey tentatively titled “What Went Wrong? Russia’s

U-Turn and the Path to Ukraine.”

Jamie Harris, founder and CEO of Satellite Gaming, is a passionate husband, father, and gamer who is on the cutting edge of video game ministry. As a facilitator of a global gaming and esports movement, Jamie is given opportunities to travel the world to coach and mentor gaming ministry leaders, while learning from those who have gone before him in the ministry space. Much of Jamie’s time is spent developing sustainable programs, learning from global ministry leaders, and building a solid case for support that will empower the lives of the 3 billion + gamers on this planet. Jamie’s mission is to see people pointed to Jesus Christ by building relationships in video games and nerd culture spaces.

Rebecca "Becca" Brune serves as Executive Director of The Congregational Collective, a 501c3 seeded by the H.E. Butt Foundation. The Congregational Collective is a new nonprofit aiming to make San Antonio’s faith communities safe places for people seeking mental wellness. Becca has joined The Collective as executive director. Previously, Brune was an executive leader with Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, a Dallas-based organization focused on building equitable mental health systems. Over the past twenty-four years Becca’s work has spanned a broad array of multisector institutions. She has assumed leadership roles in philanthropy, local government, private sector, and nonprofits. As a trained mediator, she has facilitated community conversations around natural resource management issues, healthcare, economic development, strategic planning, and community engagement. Previously, Becca served as Sr. VP of Strategic Planning for Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. where she oversaw MHM’s strategic planning process, community grants, and public policy initiatives. Throughout her career, Becca has sought to build creative, strategic partnerships and promote public-private collaborations to improve systems that support and regulate service delivery. She has more than 20 years of experience working at the local, national, and international levels developing, implementing, and sustaining strategic initiatives and community investments. Becca has traveled to and worked in Bangladesh, India, Costa Rica, Mexico and Nicaragua, studying economic development projects, entrepreneurial programs, and health service delivery programs. In her previous work experience at United Way, Becca was a member of a national United Way of America Strategic Planning Committee which developed a Financial Stability Partnership and Asset Building model that is being implemented across the nation by other local United Ways and non-profit service provides. In addition, Becca represented United Way at the national level as a trainer, featured speaker, and member of several think tank committees to develop strategies and identify solutions that will address the asset building and financial stability needs of the working poor. Becca received her MPA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University and an MBA from the Bill Greehey School of Business at St. Mary's University.

Michael Gulker is a passionate leader deeply invested in the polarized intersection of faith and culture, exploring how both can thrive when grounded in love of God and love of neighbor. Since 2011, he has served as president of The Colossian Forum, which invites people to cultivate connection across differences.

Michael’s efforts with The Colossian Forum have been recognized in major media outlets, including the The Wall Street Journal and Leap of Faith, a documentary directed by Nicholas Ma that explores whether we can disagree and still belong to each other in a divided world. 

A native of West Michigan, Michael studied philosophy and theology at Calvin College before earning his divinity degree from Duke Divinity School. He is also an ordained Mennonite pastor. He and his wife Jodie live in West Michigan with their two children.

In 1998, at her first Cru Winter Conference, Kari stood to her feet as Bill Bright laid out a challenge inviting students to fully surrender their lives to Christ. Though she had no idea what that meant at the time, it launched her toward a life of connecting others to Jesus.

Kari spent 15 years with Cru’s campus ministry, leading teams in Texas and Oklahoma, but it was her time in Ethiopia that shaped her heart for the world. Gripped by a desire to reach the unreached, she spent 5 years as a Global Missions Director before enthusiastically joining the Jesus Film Project in 2017.

Kari’s love for connecting the body of Christ to kingdom resources along with her experience serving in Global Partnerships, Expansion, and Digital Strategies naturally led to her current role as Director of Global Expansion. She brings over two decades of devotion to seeing the Great Commission fulfilled.

Molly is a wife, mother, and public health practitioner who is passionate about integrating physical and spiritual care. She serves as Managing Director of Untold, where she leads their U.S. and African teams in strategically embracing and equipping people to live a life beyond AIDS. Molly has an undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech, and a Master's Degree in Global Public Health from UMass Amherst, is certified as a Cultural Intelligence coach, and volunteers as a birth doula in Atlanta, GA. Molly and her husband and two children live in Ormewood Park and are members of Immanuel Anglican Church.

Justin Dyer is professor of government and the inaugural dean of UT Austin's School of Civic Leadership.

Dyer writes and teaches in the fields of American political thought, jurisprudence and constitutionalism, with an emphasis on the perennial philosophical tradition of natural law. He is the author or editor of eight books and numerous articles, essays and book reviews. His most recent book, with Kody Cooper, is The Classical and Christian Origins of American Politics: Political Theology, Natural Law, and the American Founding, published in 2022 by Cambridge University Press. His previous books with Cambridge University Press include C.S. Lewis on Politics and the Natural Law (2016); Slavery, Abortion, and the Politics of Constitutional Meaning (2013); and Natural Law and the Antislavery Constitutional Tradition (2012). He also is co-editor of the two-volume constitutional law casebook American Constitutional Law (4th edition, West Academic), which has been adopted at leading universities across the country.

Previously, he was a professor of political science at the University of Missouri, where he served as the founding director of the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy, a signature academic center for the study of American political thought and history. After attending the University of Oklahoma on a wrestling scholarship, he completed his M.A. and Ph.D. in Government at The University of Texas at Austin.

Filmmaker and author Craig Detweiler, PhD, is President of the cultural investment organization, the Wedgwood Circle, and Dean of the College of Arts and Media at Grand Canyon University.  After graduating from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, he wrote the screenplays for The Duke, the comedic road trip, Extreme Days and directed the award-winning documentary Remand, narrated by Angela Bassett. His acclaimed books include iGods: How Technology Shapes Our Spiritual and Social Lives, Selfies: Searching for the Image of God in a Digital Age, Deep Focus: Film and Theology in Dialogue and his newest release on Honest Creativity in the age of Artificial Intelligence. Detweiler’s cultural commentary has been featured on ABC’s Nightline, CNN, Fox, NPR, and in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Variety honored Detweiler as their 2016 Mentor of the Year.

Christy Vines is the founder, President and CEO of Ideos Institute where she leads the organization’s research on the burgeoning field of Empathic Intelligence and its application to the fields of conflict transformation, social cohesion, and social renewal. Prior to founding Ideos Institute, she was the Senior Vice President for Global Initiatives and Strategy at the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) where she served as the managing and coordinating lead for the development of strategic institutional partnerships and global initiatives in support of the IGE mission to encourage flourishing societies and stable states, and promote sustainable religious freedom, human rights and the rule of law globally. During her tenure at IGE she helped expand the organization’s Center for Women, Faith & Leadership which supports, equips and convenes religious women peacemakers around the globe. Christy has held senior roles with the RAND Corporation, where she worked with the RAND Centers for Middle East Public Policy, Asia Pacific Public Policy, Global Risk and Security, and the Center for Justice, Infrastructure, and Environment, finally transitioning to interim project manager for the RAND African First Ladies Initiative (now located at the Bush Presidential Center). Christy also held the role of senior fellow at The American Security Project and served as an advisor to the Carter’s Center’s inaugural Forum on Women, Religion, Violence and Power.Christy is a published writer, speaker, and the executive producer of the 2022 documentary film, "Dialogue Lab: America," a moving take on the current state of division and polarization in the U.S. She has appeared on podcasts like Comment Magazine’s “Whole Person Revolution Podcast”, “How Do We Fix It” and Bob Goff's “Dream Big Podcast”. She has published numerous articles and op-eds with news outlets and publications, including the Washington Post, Christianity Today, and Capital Commentary. Christy received her Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. She attended both Stanford University and the University of CA, Riverside where she received her B.A. in Sociology and Qualitative Analysis. She currently resides in Pasadena, CA.

Tracee Henneke has worked in the nonprofit industry for over 22 years but grew up with a lens of service and care for others. Tracee is a passionate advocate for those experiencing homelessness. She has learned from many friends on the streets throughout her life and career in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City and currently, Austin. As the Director of Relationships & Giving for Mobile Loaves & Fishes, Tracee provides strategic leadership in relationship building and fund development to advance the mission and vision of the organization. The vision of Mobile Loaves & Fishes is to empower communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. This vision is embedded in Tracee’s philosophy of service as an invitation to be a part of what MLF is doing for the homeless in Austin and in Community First! Village, a 51-acre master planned community for the formerly chronically homeless.

Evan Loomis is an early-stage venture investor at Overmatch, with a focus on deeptech, defense, and space. He is a co-founder of ICON, an Austin-based construction technology company pioneering the use of advanced robotics, AI, and 3D-printing to revolutionize human shelter. ICON achieved a historic milestone by 3D-printing the first home in the United States and has partnered with NASA to build the first habitat on the Moon.

In 2017, Evan co-founded Saturn Five, a long-term-hold investment firm focused on buying and operating some of the best small businesses in America. Prior to that, in 2010, he co-founded TreeHouse, a sustainable home improvement startup. In 2006, he co-founded Wedgwood Circle, an angel investment group focused on media and entertainment. Before his entrepreneurial pursuits, Evan worked as an investment banker on Wall Street and as an assistant to a former U.S. President.

Evan serves as a mentor at Praxis, a venture group that supports faith-driven entrepreneurs, and at TechStars, a startup accelerator that provides mentorship and seed-stage investment for technology companies. Additionally, he's an Adjunct Professor at the Texas A&M Mays Business School.

Evan is the author of "Get Backed: Craft Your Story, Build the Perfect Pitch Deck, and Launch the Venture of Your Dreams" (2015), a book on startup fundraising published by Harvard Business Press. He is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a Kauffman Fellow, an Advisor at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and a member of the board of directors of the Texas Space Commission. Evan holds a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University's Mays Business School and lives in Austin, TX, with his wife, Dr. Brandi Loomis, a pediatrician, and their four children.

Katie Smith Milway is the bestselling, award-winning author of One Hen and several other books in the CitizenKid collection. She has served on the board of World Vision US, coordinated community development program in Africa and Latin America for Food for the Hungry, and written several adult books on sustainable development. She has advised NGOs and social impact funders in her roles at Bain & Company, The Bridgespan Group, MilwayPLUS social impact advisors and, currently, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. A graduate of Stanford University and INSEAD, Katie has spent more than three decades working on sustainable development issues. She is based in Seattle, WA and Bowen Island, B.C.

Karl Johnson is the Executive Director of the Consortium of Christian Study Centers, a movement designed to bring Christian community, hospitality and learning to secular university campuses, currently including Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Yale, MIT, and state flagship universities in FL, MI, MN, NC, SC, TX, VA, and WI. He previously served for 20 years as the Founding Director of Chesterton House, the Christian Study Center at Cornell, a ministry that grew to include accredited courses and a two-acre campus housing over forty students living in intentional Christian community.

Karl’s first career was Outdoor Education. As an undergraduate student, he taught Physical Education classes in Backpacking, Bicycle Touring, Basic Mountaineering and Trail Maintenance. He served for ten years as the inaugural Dan Tillemans Director of the Cornell Team and Leadership Center, where he designed the largest university-based challenge course in North America and provided leadership development programs for corporations such as Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase. In addition to consulting work as a trainer and expert witness, he is the proud namesake of two facilities—a yurt, in recognition of twenty years of service to Cornell Outdoor Education, and a privy, for service to the Cayuga Trails Club.

Karl received his BA, MS, and PhD from Cornell. The focus of his academic research has been recreation and leisure in American history. He was recognized as an Academy of Leisure Sciences Future Scholar and has received several writing awards, including the 2014 Literary Award of the Christian Society of Kinesiology and Leisure Studies. His publications on related topics have appeared in Christian Scholar’s Review, Journal of Experiential Education, Leisure/Loisir, and in popular publications such as Books & Culture, Taproot, re:generation quarterly and New York State Conservationist.

In 2019, Karl and his wife Julie became the owners of First Century Voyages, a travel company that serves churches and Christian non-profit organizations with biblical heritage tours. In 2020, Karl helped launch the Octet Collaborative (MIT) in the capacity of Chief Strategist. In 2021, he succeeded Drew Trotter as Executive Director of the Consortium. Prior to becoming Executive Director, he served as a founding board member and as board chair of the Consortium for more than five years.

After living in Ithaca, NY for over 35 years, Karl and Julie now reside in Chattanooga, TN. They have five (mostly) grown children scattered from Boston to Los Angeles.

Christine Emba is a staff writer at The Atlantic, where she focuses on ideas, society, and culture. Her work ranges widely, exploring questions of gender, relationships, philanthropy and the moral economy. Previously, she was an opinion columnist, editor, and editorial board member at The Washington Post. She is also a contributing editor at Comment magazine and Advisory Council Member at the Faith Angle Forum.

Earlier in her career, Emba was the Hilton Kramer Fellow in Criticism at The New Criterion and a deputy editor at the Economist Intelligence Unit, focusing on technology and innovation. Emba was named one of the World’s Top 50 Thinkers by Prospect Magazine in 2022, and received the National Press Club’s Nell Minow Award for Cultural Criticism in 2023. Her first book, Rethinking Sex: A Provocation, is about the failures and potential of the sexual revolution in a post-#MeToo world.

Billy Boyle has served the mission of Young Life for more than 25 years. After a season of serving as the Chief of Staff for the Speaker Pro Tem of the Kansas House of Representatives, Billy and his wife Stephanie, moved to Lisbon, Portugal in 1999 to start Young Life for the first time in that country. This was the beginning of an amazing Young Life journey that literally took Billy around the world during a season of incredible international growth for Young Life. Billy has served in numerous roles for the mission and is credited with being the primary architect of the foundation of the current international operational infrastructure. Most recently he served as the Field Senior Vice President for the Middle EurAsia Division from 2020—2023 (this includes countries formerly part of the Soviet Union) before stepping into the Chief Operating Officer position in November of 2023. Billy wakes up in the morning with a desire to listen to the Lord and follow his lead. He is grateful for the privilege he has to serve the Lord through Young Life. Billy and Stephanie live in Wichita, KS and are proud parents of three amazing daughters.

Cherie is the President of the Trinity Forum. She previously served in the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Policy and Projects for First Lady Laura Bush; as Senior Policy Advisor to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, advising the Leader on domestic social issues and serving as liaison and outreach director to outside groups; and as Senior Counselor to the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Cherie holds a BA magna cum laude in government from Harvard University and a post-graduate diploma in literature from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. She serves on the board of Faith and Law and as a Senior Fellow of Cardus.

Todd Deatherage is the Co-Founder of Telos, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit dedicated to the formation of communities of American peacemakers across lines of difference to bring healing to conflict at home and abroad. Telos’ primary area of focus has been on America’s relationship to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  In more recent years, they’ve developed programming aimed at addressing issues of racial injustice in the U.S. and examining lessons from the Good Friday Peace Agreement in Northern Ireland.  Prior to Telos, Todd worked at the U.S. State Department in the Administration of President George W. Bush and served on Capitol HIll as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson (R-AR). Todd’s passion is for helping Christians embrace Jesus' call to be peacemakers as central to their discipleship journeys. He is a native Arkansan and graduate of the University of Arkansas, and began his career as an educator. He and his wife Judi have four adult children and a new grandson. They live in Annandale, Virginia and are a part of the Restoration Anglican community.
