The Board of The Gathering recently approved a travel scholarship for Gathering participants between the ages of 18-25. We are starting with the awarding of two $2,000 scholarships that can be applied to travel expenses for trips outside the US to visit ministries between now and August 15th. The winners may travel on their own, with a ministry or with a group but they must create a record of the trip through a journal, video, photographs or report. We want the experience to add to the learning of The Gathering. This will be competitive and we will accept proposals starting immediately. There is no form to fill out. Just send us a short one page proposal of the trip you plan to take and how you propose to record it for The Gathering. You can contact Fred Smith directly at fredsmith@thegathering.com.
