Generous Giving is hosting it's 2009 Fall Conference, entitled "Celebration of Generosity" from October 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas. The purpose of the conference is to join with peers to talk about what it means to be entrusted with much and how to live joyful lives that reflect His generosity in times of plenty and want.Click here for conference details

On Monday October 5th, 2009, Thomas Nelson Publishers will sponsor a "Make a Difference Benefit Dinner" to celebrate Ron Hall and Denver Moore's new book, What Difference Do It Make? This event will benefit The Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County and will be held at the TCU-Kelly Alumni -Visitors Center, 2820 Stadium Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76109. Ron and Denver will give a brief talk and sign books. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and dinner is at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $60 each with the entire cost going to Union Gospel Mission.
