Michele Dudley
Find fellowship among women and discover your passion and strengths as a giver.
In the security of a group of peers, be encouraged as you identify and fulfill your God-instilled passion for service and generosity.
Share the stories of your lives. You'll be inspired by seeing God at work in the philanthropic efforts of your peers. And you'll be a source of inspiration for others. Spend time with other women asking similar questions, and bask in the joy of what you discover together.
Understand how to deploy your resources. As a philanthropist, investor, and steward of your relationships, you have a reservoir of strength and resources. Learn how to align that abundance -- talent, treasure, and time -- with your passion and purpose.
Swap the lessons you've learned along the way. Whether making a home and raising children and/or launching a career and growing a business, you have insights that others need to hear.
We will draw on the excellent resources from our friends at Women Doing Well, a ministry that helps women live whole-hearted generosity. This group will work through two six-session courses: Ignite, and the newly-designed Grow to Activate.
Host: Michele Dudley, Gathering Board Member
Who belongs? Women givers seeking friendship with other women givers from every stage of life.
When do we meet? Once a week for 12 weeks (two six-week sessions), virtually, for 90 minutes, on Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 pm ET, starting in January 2025, followed by an in-person reunion at our next Annual Conference in September 2025.
Criteria to join our community events
- Follow Jesus as Lord and Savior.
- Give at least $200,000 a year to Christian causes. Though the number isn't a rigid threshold, it represents a proxy for the types of people who are asking and wrestling with the same questions around wise stewardship, giving well, avoiding pitfalls, raising the next generation, allocating resources, defining a family legacy, etc. People come to The Gathering to pursue relationships with peers who are exploring similar issues with a measure of humility, vulnerability, and trust.
